Located in the lobby of the Freepoint Hotel Cambridge, Tapestry Collection, our signature restaurant, Freepoint Kitchen & Cocktails offers an innovative dining concept in the heart of Cambridge, MA.
Renowned interior design firm, Dash Design - who oversaw the recent renovation of Boston's Hotel Commonwealth - brought the vision for the property to life under the guidance of the hotel's ownership. The design and décor of Freepoint Hotel Cambridge reflects a sophisticated urban environment, an authentic and engaging reflection of the true Cantabrigian spirit and its passion for intellectual exploration, reinvention and innovation.
In crafting the cocktail menus, inspiration was drawn from the "traveler" who can find comfort in a familiar spirit like a toasty rye or bourbon cocktail complemented by approachable, locally sourced ingredients.

Cambridge Restaurant with A Locally Sourced Menu
With an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, the menu at our Cambridge restaurant consists of a playful interpretation of global flavors. Enjoy creative, casual fare presented through a variety of small plates and shareable dishes.
In the evening, the restaurant offers simplistic, yet thoughtful bar snacks and entrees designed to enjoy with after work cocktails or a nightcap between coworkers or friends. The fun menu features shareable plates such as Wagyu beef sliders and two types of flat breads, buffalo chicken and mozzarella and our homemade cheesy sheet pan nachos. Yes, our tortilla chips are handmade in our kitchen keeping with the locally sourced theme of ingredients.

A Cool Cambridge Bar with Classic Cocktails Made Modern
Our cocktail list is from esteemed Beverage Consigliere Alex Howell. Rooted in bourbon and brown liquors, the bar's cocktail list features interpretations of approachable modern and classics cocktails like the Aviation (gin, maraschino, lemon, creme de violet), Blood & Sand (scotch, cherry herring, cinzano, orange) and the 21st Century Cocktail (tequila, creme de cacao, lemon, absinthe).
A highlight of the cocktail program is a dedicated Manhattan Menu, featuring 8 variations from around the world and a House Version (Old Overholt Rye, Cocchi Torino, Jerry Thomas Bitters). Try the 'design your own' featuring a variety of bourbon and rye, as well as sweet and dry vermouth.
